Golden Gent

This antique Georgian era ring features a painted silhouette of a gentleman, possibly an officer in uniform with gold buttons on his coat, set within a black border. It is created using the verre églomisé technique with gold leaf applied to the reverse of the glass.

The setting has a seed pearl surround. The covering crystal is obscured and would benefit from being replaced.
