Golden Lady
Continental School Ring
£800
This antique Georgian era ring features a finely painted silhouette of an elegant lady set within a decorative pink border. The lady wears a dress with a delicate lace-edged neckline, her upswept hair with loose tendrils. It is created using the verre églomisé technique with gold leaf applied to the reverse of the glass.
The setting has an inner twisted surround and an outer beaded border with decorated shoulders. It tests for at least 9ct gold but has no hallmarks and may be plated. (Please note the box is not included in the sale.)
Ring Size: Q½ (8.25 US)
The head of the ring measures 23 x 19mm
