Walking the Dogs

This curious little pen, ink and watercolour drawing shows a dapper gentleman in a red coat, yellow breeches and top hat walking with his two dogs in a hilly landscape. It is drawn on embossed card and signed bottom left with the initials W.R. and impressed around the top of the oval with the message ‘Au Nouvel An Pour Vous Nouveau Bonheur’. It is in good condition and is presented in an ebonised reeded frame.
