Temple Of Hercules

Early 19th Century

Well-executed sepia watercolour of the Roman Temple of Hercules at Cora (i.e. Cori) in Italy. It may have been painted in situ or been inspired by Paranesi’s illustration.

Originating from a commonplace album with light age browning, there is old ink writing on the reverse side of the page.

From a collection of unframed artwork offered for a limited period at keen prices. No trade discount is available and postage will be additional at cost.
