Silhouette Locket

An attractively small and fine silhouette portrait of a lady with upswept hair secured with a comb. The profile is signed Miers under the bust-line.

The silhouette is painted on ivory and is set in a 14 caret gold frame that is glazed on the reverse to reveal plaited brown hair. Fine condition but with some scratches to the old glass.
