Fluttering His Eyelashes

This well-drafted and expressive portrait shows a boy gazing steadily out with dark eyes and eyelashes in a double-breasted blue coat and wide-collared shirt. Sadly there is no inscription so the boy’s details have been lost to history.

In fine and clean condition, the portrait is set in a later gold-plated frame that is enclosed at the back.
